Individual travel awards are now growing faster than group travel due to the flexibility offered to the winner as well as the client. There are no upfront commitments or deposits. You purchase what you need as you award the prizes. Group travel offers team building, camaraderie, and the chance to have the management of the company host the event. All the winners go to the same destination at the same time. The sponsor normally hosts travel, selected meals and activities. Upfront commitments are required to hold the hotel, cruise, and airline space. Group travel normally offers events or locations difficult, if not impossible, for the individual to obtain on their own. Does not have lasting value. It is difficult for anyone to remember how they spend the money. Most of all there is no trophy value. The winner can not remember what they purchased nor can the company remind them of the experience of what they won. Cash is often requested by the winner but we believe that it does not serve the needs of the sponsor to offer cash. In all cases the winner deserves recognition.
